You can get a headstart on everyone else by starting to plan out 2018, today. Imagine going on holidays over the summer knowing you are going to be stepping back into a business that is ready to be the best in 2018!

We may still have about 8 weeks until the end of the year, and that is plenty of time to still achieve our 2017 goals, it will also give you breathing space to plan out what you would like to achieve next year.

Take this time to reflect on what you have achieved this year, go back to the goals you set at the start of the year. See the goals you completed or those you may have forgot about. Celebrate what you have achieved. Also consider the plans you do have, are they consistent or out of date – do you need to update them.

Then brainstorm, with yourself or a trusted ‘advisor’, ‘mentor’ or ‘coach’ all of your ideas. Just brain dump. This is not the time to think about how you will achieve it or the money that is needed or the finer details. It is the time to dream.

Finally write these goals down. Don’t create too many, because you will most likely only set yourself up to fail. Also don’t make them to easy they don’t stretch you and take you a little out of your comfort zone. Lets face it that is where you will find success!

It is important that you write them down. Make sure they are measurable, how will you know when you have achieved the goal otherwise. Put a timeframe on the achievement. Then pull out your planner and create your quarterly goals, weekly goals and daily tasks. So that every day in your business you are working towards the end goal.

The start of 2017 is not too far away, and I know in January I want my business on auto-pilot so I can enjoy the sunshine, my family, friends and fit in as much camping as possible.
